Bringing another Artist that caught my eye over the years.
His work is amazing.

HENRI MATISSE!

(Dec. 31, 1869-Nov. 3, 1954)

Henri Early art work was pretty straight foward but over the years he start developing a new sense of art. His interest was more in the famale form. Henri plays with his figure (lines, colors, forms....) Most of his life he lived in Southern France & became ill to arthiritis.

what draws me into his art? Is his free will of not making every shape perfect nor giving the form correct approach. But making his art unique. He didn't capture the average thought of art, just a thought of how he wanted art. His artwork is brilliant & it gives me a boost to be unique as well.

Käthe Schmidt Kollwitz was a German artist. Käthe Kollwitz (née Schmidt) grew up in Königsberg. She is regarded as one of the most important German artists of the twentieth century, and as a remarkable woman who created timeless art works against the backdrop of a life of great sorrow, hardship and heartache.

This year I developed an interest in her art work because of the details and structure that is presented. Kathe has a great ability of making lines reinforce into a work of wonders.It just amazes me how each line generates a definition in the pictures.
